History about Fake Eyelashes

Fake Eyelashes were invented in 1916 by D.W.Griffith, the American Film Director Mr. Griffith invented Fake Eyelashes for his epic, "Intollerance" in which he wanted actress Seena Owen's lashes looked very long that they world brush her cheeks when she blinked. 

Years went by, no new tendencies in Fake Eyelashes were observed until 50s, it became popular again.

Japan has taken pro-active step in Fake Eyelashes history.  Japanese strived to make Fake Eyelashes as similar to natural eyelashes as possible.  They tailored Fake Eyelashes that duplicated the real ones. First, Fake Eyelashes were put together in bunches and were glued to eyelid.

A revolutionary took place in 2006 where Japan has introduced lash-by-lash technique!  It was a great invention as each Fake Eyelashes was attached to each natural lash which looked at most naturally.
