It is always say that do we need to apply eyebrow to fill in our brows? I personally think this is very much depending on individual likes. Sometimes it is not necessary to do a lot of filling in, but some will definitely help define and perfect your brow. There are currently four types of eyebrow that you can use and apply. Most important is you must choose the right types that will suit you well and achieve your goal, whether it's slightly filling in or replacing what is just not there.
The four types of eyebrow are Pencil, Powder, Creme and Brow Gel.
i) Pencil - It is the most common formula used to define the brows. Pencil generally will has a waxier consistency than other makeup pencils, this will normally help to adhere better to the brows and last longer. There are two types of pencils, one come in mechanical type and the other in wood type. The mechanical pencil will just simply twist it to extend the product and then apply. While for the wood pencil type, it requires sharpening before use because the sharper the point, the better the application.
ii) Powder - It can provide the most natural look when filling in your eyebrows. It is usually applied with a narrow, stiff-angle eyebrow brush. The powder color is a matte, no shimmer powder with high pigment content.
iii) Creme - It is the most dramatic looking brow color. A matte creme is applied by using a narrow and stiff-angle eyebrow brush and best set with eyebrow powder so it can last longer and will not smudge.
iv) Brow Gel - It is like a hair gel for the brows. The gel is able to keep the brows in place. Brow gels have two types, in tinted or in clear formula. Tinted gel will make the hairs you have look fuller and more noticeable while keeping everything in place. Clear gel can help set the color already applied while keeping your eyebrow hairs in place.
